Matched bouts will be according to the weight classes outlined in Appendix F of the USA Boxing rulebook.

REGISTRATION MARCH 1 - APRIL 19.

You need to go ahead and register or reregister with USA Boxing (link below) if you have not already done so.
​
The following registration fees are to be paid upon registering for the Tri-State Golden Gloves tournament.
There are SEPERATE registration fees with USA Boxing.

Athlete Registration Fee: $25
THIS FEE CAN BE PAID VIA PAYPAL OR ON SITE IN CASH.

DAY ONE:
Friday, MAY 3, 2024
Weigh-ins: 7:00 AM
Physicals: 9 AM
First Bout: 6 PM

DAY TWO:
Saturday, MAY 4, 2024
Weigh-ins: 7:00 AM
Physicals: 11 AM
First Bout: 6 PM

DAY THREE:
Sunday. MAY 5, 2024
Weigh-ins: 7:00 AM
Physicals: 9 AM
First Bout: 12 PM
Important Considerations
ONLY winners in the Open/Elite division are eligible to advance to the National Golden Gloves Tournament.

Open/Elite regional champions must ensure they will be available to travel to the National Golden Gloves Tournament in Detroit, MI on the following dates:

May 12, 2024 - May 18, 2024
​
More information will be made available as the Tri-State Golden Gloves tournament approaches.

Requirements
USA Boxing non-athletes:​

Only members who have current registration and SafeSport; and have attended any clinics deemed necessary by the Chief of Officials, Connie Brammer, will be allowed to participate.

All officials must wear their blue Golden Gloves shirt when participating in the tournament.

Only 2 coaches allowed in an athlete's corner.

Please reference this link and click on the role you will be participating in at the tournament to understand what standards have been set forth for you by USA Boxing.

Golden Gloves and USA Boxing officials will be intentional in meeting these standards so as to ensure a safe and successful tournament.
Lack of compliance with these standards will result in forfeiture of registration fee and inability to actively participate in the tournament. USA Boxing Athletes:
Please bring the following to ensure eligibility to compete:

Valid, current USA Boxing Passbook. You cannot and will not compete without it -- no exceptions.

USA Boxing approved headgear (Masters must use USA Boxing Master's Division approved headgear)

Mouthguard
-
Trunks with a contrasting color on waistband

Appropriate boxing footwear

Boxing jersey

(Male) Groin Protection
Lack of compliance with these standards will result in forfeiture of registration fee and inability to actively participate in the tournament. PLEASE make sure your passbook is current and apparel/equipment is USA Boxing approved before arriving for the tournament.
